Entering the weekend with a seven game winning streak, the K-Motel Midget 'AA' Broncos quickly saw momentum shift out of their favour.

Playing three games in three days, beginning on Friday, the Broncos found themselves on the wrong end of all three, which not only ended their lengthy win streak, but began a three game skid.

On Friday, Swift Current travelled to Weyburn to battle the league leading Wings.

The Broncos were unable to ever get much going, as they evetually fell 11-3.

On Saturday, the competition hardly got any easier.

Swift Current went from battling the league's top seed, to taking on the Estevan Bruins, who sit third in league standings.

After a scoreless opening frame, the Bruins jumped on the Broncos with a four goal second period, en route to a 6-2 win.

Looking to turn things around on Sunday, the Broncos returned home to battle the Prairie Storm.

The Storm scored the lone goal of the first period and then added two more in the second, putting Swift Current behind 3-0 after two periods of play.

In the third, Rhett Stevenson cut the lead to 3-1, however, from there the teams would go on to trade goals as the Prairie Storm came away with a 5-2 win.

The goal for Stevenson was his second of the weekend, increasing his team lead to 19 goals on the season.

With the three losses, the Broncos fell to 8th in league standings but with another busy weekend upcoming they will have a chance to make up ground.

Swift Current will travel to Melville on Friday and then head to Yorkton to face the Terriers twice on Saturday and Sunday to wrap up their December schedule.
