The Purebred cattle hit the show ring this morning at Frontier Days. Bernie Kemick chairs the Livestock committee and says this year over 100 purebred cattle will be on the grounds. Kemick is extremely pleased with the interest from producers since some of the other regional fairs have dropped the livestock component. Nine breeds are represented in the purebred competition Herefords – Polled and Horned, Black and Red Angus, Gelbvieh, Charolais, Simmentals, Tarentaise and Shorthorns.
