The Grand Coteau Centre, the Shaunavon Library, the Wellness and Leisure Committee and the Economic Development Committee have partnered to create a community program for adults of low to no-cost activities called ME Time.

Joanne Gregoire is the Director of Culture for the Town of Shaunavon. She explains the Initiative,

"The Initiative began just because we recognized a need to come up with some solutions to help community members cope with mental health and well-being challenges. Our Program Coordinator at The Grand Coteau, Tammy Willman, met with some community members and just did a bit of brain-storming and decided let's come up with an Initiative that tries to reach as many people as we can, and try to solve some of those issues in a positive way."

The Kick Off Event for ME Time will happen Tuesday September 13 at seven p.m. at The Grand Coteau Centre.

It will feature two guest speakers, Jaelee Guenther BSP of Jae's Pharmacy and Dr. Anne Davis,  and an opportunity to socialize and ask questions.

ME Time will involve each partner organization taking turns offering various events over the next 10 months.

The first program will be a Disc Golf Clinic on September 22.
