Two games and a drop to second place in Group A yesterday for Swift Current’s Logan Fritzke and Team Sask in Baseball action at the Canada Summer Games.

Game one of the day against Quebec saw Fritzke, a second baseman with the Midget AAA 57’s, drive in his first RBI of the tournament in a 4-2 win.

Team Sask dropped their second contest against Team Alberta 6-2.

Sitting with a 3-2 record through five games, the bats have yet to heat up in the tournament for Team Sask, averaging less than three runs per game (14 runs over five games). Fortunately for the team, the pitching staff has aided their medal aspirations - they've given up just 19 runs in their five games.

Team Sask looks to get back on track tonight in their final game of round robin play against BC.
