Nick Myers looking good with his Broncos jersey in the Mix 103 studio in Moose Jaw

When the Swift Current Broncos and Moose Jaw Warriors met in the first round of the WHL Playoffs, Colin made a bet with Mix 103 morning show host Nick Myers, saying he had to wear a Broncos jersey in front of Moose Jaw's City Hall for an hour if Swift Current beat the Warriors. Colin would have had to do the same with a Warriors jersey in front of Swift Current's city hall had the Warriors won.

After a thrilling 7-game series that saw the Broncos come out on top, Nick made good on the bet on Thursday and Colin made a trip to the Friendly City to help him out.

Moose Jaw Mayor Fraser Tolmie, who has to wear a Broncos jersey at the next Moose Jaw City Council meeting after losing a bet with Swift Current Mayor Denis Perrault, also joined Nick to give him some support.

Thanks to Nick and Fraser for being great sports! We're looking forward to seeing some more great playoff hockey between the Broncos and Warriors in future seasons. Also, there's now a few Warriors fans throwing their support behind our team as the Broncos look to take down the Regina Pats in the second round.

Meanwhile, the Broncos picked up a HUGE OT win in game one against the Pats Thursday night to take home ice advantage away from the top team in junior hockey! Game two is tonight in the Queen City and you can catch it on the Eagle 94.1, with Robertson Family Group Broncos Hockey starting at 6:30pm with the pre-game show.

Games 3 & 4 are in Swift Current Monday and Tuesday, and tickets are nearly sold out. Get yours today by calling the Stable at 306-773-1509, or go online to scbroncos.com.
