The RCMP have made four arrests after a Swift Current man was reportedly kidnapped from a residence in mid-June.

On June 13 at 10 p.m. the Swift Current City RCMP received a complaint of the incident that was said to have happened earlier that day.

A pair of adult males reportedly forced another adult male from a residence and into a vehicle and then drove away.

The following day the victim was able to escape from a residence in Brandon and made his way back to Saskatchewan where he told the RCMP what happened.

On July 24 Police arrested Robert Ballingall, Christopher Drover, David Joss, and Christopher Roskam in connection with the incident.

The four men from Manitoba were charged with one count each of kidnapping and appeared in Brandon court yesterday.

They were remanded into custody after court and a court date in Saskatchewan is expected to be announced shortly.
