A pair of Swift Current residents were arrested after Swift Current Municipal RCMP executed a search warrant earlier this week.
On October 30, at 1:30 p.m. Swift Current Municipal GIS along with the help of Swift Current Municipal Detachment officers, and both Swift Current and Regina Police Dog Sections executed a search warrant of a residence situated on the 400 block of 3rd Avenue Northwest, and of an associated vehicle.
In the search, officers seized several ounces of cocaine, with an estimated street value of $30,000
33-year-old Tyler Adamson and 36-year-old Gregory Hughes are facing charges including:
-Trafficking cocaine
-Possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking
-Conspiring to commit an indictable offence
-Possession of property obtained by crime over $5000 (The charge stems from RCMP seizing $7,000 cash during a search of a residence in late August 2019)
- Possession of weapon for a dangerous purpose.
Both were scheduled in Swift Current Provincial Court on Thursday.
