Weekend Recap

The Richmound Rockets continued their perfect Sask-Alta Baseball League season yesterday on the road.

They first made a stop in Hazlet to face the Elks, where they busted the game open late en route to a 13-2 victory with Tyson Dirk picking up the win on the mound.

Just a few hours later, the Rockets were back on the diamond in Gull Lake facing the Greyhounds and they eked out a 6-4 win.

Richmound pitcher Brad Paradis picked up the win against Gull Lake and Zach Marshall notched the save.

Action Tonight

There's a pair of games on tonight in the league, as the Maple Creek Mohawks visit the Cabri River Rats. The other game is in Swift Current as the Yard Goats will host the Shaunavon Badgers at Mitchell Field. Both contests are scheduled for a 6:30 p.m. first pitch.
