This past weekend saw the return of the Saskatchewan Motorcross Association to racing in the province after a year off due to COVID restrictions in Weyburn Saskatchewan.

Swift Current rider Jesse Gardner number 16 in the MX2 Junior Class competing in his first race against 38 other riders came in 33rd in the first moto. He bettered his finish to 32nd in the second race but more importantly took five seconds off his lap times.

Gull Lake rider Luke Hodgins competing in the MX2 Junior Class had some troubles in the first race going down three times but still battled back to come 16th in moto 1. In the second race, he ended up 15th.

The next action for both riders will be June 20th right here on the Swift Current track.
