September is all set to let the donations off the chain as the Swift Current SPCA returns to Taillight Tuesday.

The weekly Show n' Shine is happy to be hosting the non-profit animal shelter again this month, seeking to help them gather up funding for their regular operations.

Working the donations tent at this week's Taillight Tuesday was Joanne Schatkoski, the development officer for the SPCA. She was laughing and smiling with everyone who came up, eager to take donations and talk to people about the situation at the SPCA.

"We're thrilled that the Rogue Cruisers invited us back," said Schatkoski.  We're thrilled to be back. It's amazing how every week more and more and more vehicles keep coming back. It's an awesome event."

The SPCA was the first group to come on board with the Rogue Cruisers and Taillight Tuesday, as the beneficiary group for both May and June. Since then, the event has only grown larger and larger, with more and more motorists coming into the show.

More cars means more people, which hopefully translates into even more generosity for the SPCA.

"Any money the event raises all goes towards the animals," said Schatkoski. "They [each donator] all help."

For every $10 they donate, contributors get entered to win an Amazon tablet. Folks are also welcome to donate more, as the SPCA needs over $30,000 for a month's operating costs. Every dollar counts.

"Just come on down and see all these amazing cars," said Schatkoski. "Come visit us and talk to Dustin about getting some [Rogue Cruiser] merchandise."
