The Saskatoon Police Service is warning the public of reports of a text scam in the city.

Targets receive a text message claiming their vehicle was spotted speeding by a camera and are then offered a chance to pay the ticket online. 

However, the Saskatoon Police Service will never send texts regarding payments of any kind. 

Residents are being advised to block the number and ignore the text. Do not click the link or make any payments to this website. 

If you have been a victim of any fraud or scam, please report this to the Saskatoon Police Service 306-975-8300. These text messages can also be reported to the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre.
