The Saskatchewan Teachers Federation is reeling back job action after resuming bargaining.

The STF and the Government of Saskatchewan were able to once again open negotiations earlier today.

According to a Chinook School Division release sent to parents, this means work-to-rule job action will be suspended, allowing for regular teaching practices to resume.

The release stated that the Government-Trustee Bargaining Committee indicated they have a renewed mandate. It's with this they extended the invitation to the STF to resume talks.

It also confirmed that all supervision and extracurricular activities will resume as normal. Schools will be individually making plans for any upcoming activities based on this.

Chinook expects to communicate further, depending on whether the STF decides to resume job action.
