In the Saskatchewan Health Authority's daily COVID-19 update for Monday July 27, they are reporting 31 new cases of the virus in the province.

Of those new cases, 10 are in the Central Region, 9 are in the South, 8 are in Saskatoon, and 3 are in the North Regions.

This brings the provincial total number of cases to 1,209, with one case's location pending.

Of the 1,209 reported cases, 307 are considered active.

There are now 156 active cases reported in the South.

The SHA is reporting a total of 13 recoveries today, bringing the total number of provincial recoveries to 886.

There have been a total of 16 COVID-19 deaths in the province to date.

There are 14 people in hospital. Ten people are receiving inpatient care-four in Saskatoon, three in the Central Region, two in the South, and one in Regina. There are four people  in intensive care- three in Saskatoon, and one in Regina.

To date, 92,796 COVID-19 tests have been performed in Saskatchewan.
