In the October 28 COVID-19 update from The Saskatchewan Health Authority they are reporting a total of 67 new cases of the virus in the province.

Public Health investigations are underway to determine the source of transmission for all new cases.

Of the 67 new cases reported there are 7 in the North West zone, 7 in the North Central zone, 11 in the North East zone, 25 in the Saskatoon zone, 15 in the Regina zone, and 2 in the South East zone.

One case from yesterday pending location has been assigned to the North Central zone.

That brings the provincial total number of cases to 2,908, of which 666 are considered active.

There is 1 active case in the South West zone.

There were also 53 recoveries reported today, bringing that provincial total to 2,217.

There are 20 people in hospital. Fourteen of those people are receiving inpatient care - 4 in the North zone, 9 in the Saskatoon zone, and 1 in the Regina zone. There are 6 people in intensive care - 1 in the North  Central zone, 4 in Saskatoon and 1 in Regina.

There have been 25 deaths related to COVID-19 reported so far. 

To date, there has been a total of 256,082 COVID-19 tests done in Saskatchewan.

And yesterday, there were 2,410 COVID-19 tests done.
