Safety when riding cross-country busses is again on everybody's mind after a second violent incident on a Greyhound bus occured in less than two months.

Last Sunday night, a man was stabbed on a bus in Northern Ontario.  He is expected to fully recover, and police have a suspect in custody.

Back in July, a man was killed in a brutal attack on a Greyhound Bus in Manitoba.

Tracy Fahlman, Communications Director with the Saskatchewan Transportation Company, says that incident was the reason for a 10 percent decline in ridership for the month of August.  Fahlman adds STC is finishing up a safety review, and will be proposing enhanced security measures soon.
