Alexie Palchinski scored twice to help the Innovation Federal Credit Union Wildcats to a 4-1 win over the Battlefords Sharks on Sunday to split a weekend road swing.

Palchinski opened the scoring at the 8:08 mark of the first period with Madden Rublee making it 2-0 for the Wildcats 30 seconds later. Danika Dureau cut the Sharks' deficit to 2-1 with 6:44 left in the opening frame before Palchinski scored her second of the game on the power play 2:07 into the second period. Dior Stringer scored for the Wildcats with 8:46 left in the middle frame to finish the scoring. Stringer also had an assist for a two-point game and Raela Packet also added a couple of helpers. Jordyn Ottenbreit made 22 saves as Swift Current outshot the Sharks 26-23.

The Wildcats (3-4-1-2) play their next league game on November 21 when they visit the Notre Dame Hounds.
