The second-place Swift Current Wolverines dropped an 11-6 decision to the first-place Prince Albert Predators in Prairie Gold Lacrosse League action at S3 Arenas on Saturday.

Isaac Froese had a hat trick for the Wolverines and Adam Zanidean, Daylan Elviss and Riley Schafer also scored, with Ryder Smith adding two assists. Caidyn Prediger led the Prince Albert offence with five goals and an assist, and Matthew Cudmore, Brayden Rieger and Hayden Ulriksen added two goals each.

The Wolverines (7-3) head to Regina to face the Barracudas next Sunday, but will be back on the floor for a special alumni game on Wednesday night at 7:00 p.m. from S3 Arenas. Admission is free with a donation of a non-perishable food item for the Salvation Army Food Bank.
