The Swift Current Broncos will hope that the third times the charm this evening as they continue to look for their first win of the season on St. Patrick's Day.

In a weird series of events, the Broncos will play as the home team at the Brandt Centre against the Regina Pats in the first of four meetings in the shortened campaign.

Swift Current Broncos Head Coach & Director of Hockey Operations Dean Brockman said his team will have to be very wary of one specific player tonight.

"Well we know Connor Bedard kind of been the highlight reel here so he's probably one of the best players here at 15, so that's pretty amazing, we certainly want to pay special attention to him," he said. "Carson Denomie can score goals, they have some firepower up front and their backend is okay. Again we have to play with some pace and structure and hopefully generate somethings on offence and prevent on defence."

In three games this year Bedard has racked up three goals and three assists for Regina. And Denomie has four goals in three games too.

The Pats enter the game with a record of 0-2-1 while the Broncos sit at 0-2.
