The Home Hardware Midget AAA Legionnaires earned their sixth-straight win last night in their second-last game of the regular season.

In their 43rd game, the Legionnaires ventured out on the road to shut out the Notre Dame Argos 2-0 in Wilcox.

Goals came from Riley Dekowny and Jaxon Martens in the win, while Jacob Herman stopped all 19 shots he faced for his third shutout of the season.

The Legionnaires (28-13-1-1) now move into sole possession of fourth place in the league standings, though the fifth-place Notre Dame Hounds (26-12-2-2) have a game in hand and the tie breaker if the two teams end the season deadlocked.

The Hounds sit two points back, and are on the road tonight and tomorrow afternoon in Battlefords wrapping up their regular season against the Stars (14-26-0-2).

Meanwhile the Legionnaires play their regular season finale Sunday afternoon in Regina against the Pat Canadians (31-7-2-2), who are gunning for the #1 seed in the league.

Puck drop in the Legionnaires final regular season game is 3 p.m. on Sunday in Regina.
