The Swift Current 57's dropped a 17-12 decision to the Regina Red Sox in WCBL action on Tuesday night at Currie Field.

Demetrio Archuleta led the 57's offence with three hits and 4 RBI, including a two-run home run in the sixth inning and a two-run triple as part of a six-run seventh inning. Jose Ayala also hit a solo homer for Swift Current and Kai Gray, Brody Alexandre and Marcus Graham drove in a pair of runs each. Silas Butler had a three-RBI night for the Red Sox and Jackson Syring and Kody Hanna brought home two more runs apiece.

57's starter Adam Korte allowed four earned runs and three hits over 2.2 innings as he took the loss on the mound. Brendon Gutierrez got the win for Regina and Brandon Rice picked up a seven-out save.

The 57's (2-8) return home to face the Moose Jaw Miller Express tonight at 7:00 p.m. from Mitchell Field, and then host the Weyburn Beavers for a doubleheader on Thursday.
