The Swift Current Broncos suffered a 5-2 loss to Prince Albert last night to kick off a home-and-home series with the Raiders.

The Raiders were lifted by four goals from Anthony Bardaro, who scored three goals in the third period to put it away.

Christian Magnus opened the scoring for the Broncos early in the game, and Ryon Moser added a goal of his own in the second period to go along with his assist on Magnus' goal. Graham Black had assists on both Broncos goals. Broncos goalie Jon Groenhyede made 39 saves as the Raiders outshot the Broncos 44-33.

The Broncos wrap up the home-and-home set tonight at the Credit Union iplex. Face-off is at 7:05pm, and you can hear the game on the Eagle 94.1 starting at 6:30pm.
