We've been anticipating our first real blast of winter for this season, and Mother Nature delivered with large snowfalls and blizzard conditions throughout southwest Saskatchewan.

This morning, Highway 1 remains closed between Swift Current and the Alberta boundary, and travel is not being recommended on other highways in the southwest. Also, school buses have been cancelled for schools in Swift Current and other communities in the southwest. You can get all of the details on the Road Reports and Cancellations page on Swift Current Online.
