Lobster Feast recently came ashore in Swift Current at the Living Sky Casino.

Last Friday, participants were able to pay $75 for a plate, which offered them a choice between the title dish of lobster, or a 14oz. steak. There were also unlimited mussels and a complete array of sides and fixings.

Angela Isbister, general manager of the Living Sky Casino, was happy with the turnout of the event, which saw 130 people in attendance.

"Everybody who attended the event said they really enjoyed the food, the entertainment, and enjoyed the atmosphere," said Isbister. "It was a very successful event. The staff did an amazing job and we're looking forward to next year."

The entertainment was of the east coast variety, with a fiddler by the name of Austin Castle performing the accompaniment for the evening.

Lobster Feast is a Saskatchewan Indian Gaming Authority (SIGA) event and was also hosted at the Bear Claw Casino, Gold Horse Casino, and the Painted Hand Casino as well.
