Local Evan Resch almost became a millionnaire thanks to a contest in the Jays game last night.

If any Jay hits for the cycle (home-run, triple, double, single) in a game, the nightly contestant will win a million dollars in a special promotion during Jays' broadcasts.

Last night's contestant was Swift Current's Evan Resch.

Molina hit a rare triple in the 1st inning - his first triple in six years.  He followed that with a single in the 6th and then a home-run in the 8th.  The Jays catcher got up to bat one more time in the 9th needing a double to complete the cycle.  Molina though would ground-out to end the unlikely run and a shot at a million dollars for the local resident.
