A brief update on pothole repairs was provided by the City of Swift Current earlier this week.

The service roads within the City's limits have been completed.

Now they've turned their attention to the main roads in the City.

"Central Avenue, 1st Avenue Northwest, Chaplin Street, Cheadle Street, Hillcrest Drive, 13th Avenue, North Hill Drive," Swift Current's General Manager of Infrastructure and Operations Mitch Minken said.

Minken expects those priority roads to be tackled this week and next week.

"As we wind down the sweeping program, we'll have more resources to throw at it," he said.

Weather permitting, the street sweeping should conclude next Wednesday allowing crews to begin in residential areas in late May and early June.
