The Saskatchewan Roughriders picked up a much needed victory last night.

The Saskatchewan Roughriders jumped out to an early 24-0 lead on the Hamilton Ti-Cats, and never looked back.

The Riders cruised to a 46-15 victory over the struggling Tabbies.  Kenton Keith was huge, scoring 2 touchdowns and gaining 249 of combined rushing and recieving yards.  Rocky Butler threw for 170 yards and two TD's while running for 61 yards himself.  Butler was sent into the game after starting quarterback Marcus Crandell dislocated his elbow in the first quarter.

The second game of the home and home is next Saturday.

Elsewhere in the CFL last night, Damon Allen surpassed 70,000 yards passing in his career last night, and is now only 442 yards behind Warren Moon for the all-time lead in career passing yards in professional football.  Allen threw for 200 yards in the Toronto Argonauts 31-6 home victory over the Montreal Allouettes.
