The August 14 daily COVID-19 update from The Saskatchewan Health Authority is reporting a total of 30 new cases in the province.

Of those 30 new cases there is 1 in the North Central Region, 23 in the South West, and 6 in the South Central Region.

One case is pending residence information.

This brings the provincial total of cases in Saskatchewan to 1,541.

Of those 1,541 cases, 174 are considered active.

All of today's 30 new cases and 108 of 174 active cases are in communal living settings.

In the South West Region there are 54 active cases.

There are 22 more recoveries reported today, bringing that provincial total to 1,347.

There are ten people in hospital. Five are receiving inpatient care - 3 in Saskatoon, 1 in Regina, and 1 in the North Central Region.

There are five people in intensive care - 3 in Saskatoon, 1 in the North Central Region, and 1 in the South West.

Twenty deaths related to COVID-19 have been reported.

To date, 118,470 COVID-19 tests have been performed in the province.

Yesterday 1,666 COVID-19 tests were performed in Saskatchewan.
