Robyn Silvernagle, Kelly Schafer and Team Saskatchewan suffered a tough 9-5 loss to Laurie St-Georges and Team Quebec on Monday afternoon at the Scotties Tournament of Hearts in Kamloops, British Columbia.

Saskatchewan opened the scoring with a deuce in the second end, and after forcing Quebec to a single in the third, St-Georges stole two in the fourth and one more in the fifth to go up 4-2 at the break. Silvernagle scored one in the sixth before Quebec picked up two more in the seventh. Saskatchewan scored one and stole one in the eighth and ninth ends to cut their deficit to 6-5 coming home without hammer, but Quebec picked up three in the 10th end to wrap up their second win of the event.

Saskatchewan falls to 1-3 and will likely need to win all their four remaining games to have a chance at making the championship round. They will face Kaitlyn Lawes and Team Wild Card #1 on Tuesday morning before facing defending champion Kerri Einarson in the afternoon.
