An educational workshop geared towards new local business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs will soon be coming to Swift Current and interested parties only have three more days to sign up.

Ignite Your Ideas is a three-hour workshop put on by the Sk Startup Institute in partnership with Community Futures Southwest.

Nightjar Diner Co, a local restaurant, will host the Swift Current workshop on Thursday, June 20 from 5:30 – 8:30 p.m.

The workshop is open to people who have been operating a business for less than a year or those who have a business idea and are in Sask.

15 applicants will be able to connect and network with local professionals and business owners for experienced advice in one-on-one conversations.

Food and drinks will be available and only the successful applicants will be contacted.

Additional Ignite Your Ideas workshops are set for Warman and Regina on June 19, and Price Albert on June 20.

Anyone interested in attending the Swift Current workshop or others can register on the Sk Startup Institute’s website, call (306) 242 - 4101 or email info@skstartup.ca before the deadline on June 5.
