The builders of the Swift Current Casino hope to break sod by late fall.

 

Dean Bellegarde is the chair of File Hills Qu'Appelle Tribal Council. He says they are in the process of finalizing the architectual plans and are currently hiring a construction manager.

 

Bellegarde says they are on schedule.

 

Bellegarde adds they are slated to open by December 2007 and adds our casino will feature a poker room.

 

Local architect, Brian Eldred is designing the casino facility.
