The U11 Flatland Coyotes girls’ lacrosse team has just earned bronze in the first tournament of the season in Edmonton.

The Flatland Coyotes have players from all over Saskatchewan, gathering girls from Prince Albert, Weyburn, and two from Swift Current; Abigail Johnson and Everlee Warnke. The team practices in Pilot Butte, Weyburn, and Moose Jaw, having only three practices before the tournament.

During the Rock the North Tournament, the team clutched up for third place, after their last two games in which the goalie earned consecutive shutouts.
