The Swift Current Wolverines suffered their first two losses of the Prairie Gold Lacrosse League season on Saturday in a road doubleheader against the Prince Albert Predators in a rematch of last season's league final.

Zealand Rayner and Riley Schafer had a goal and an assist each, and Dawson Gates and Ryder Turko also scored for the Wolverines in a 10-4 loss to the Predators in the opening game. Turko added a hat trick in the nightcap while Stowe Francis and Shane Cornelson each scored a goal as Swift Current fell 11-5 to the Predators.

The Wolverines return home to face the Moose Jaw Mustangs on Thursday at 8:00 p.m. from S3 Arenas.

The U11 Rampage stayed unbeaten on the league season with 7-2 and 6-2 road victories over the Weyburn Thrashers on Saturday, while the U13 Rampage fell 7-5 and 6-4 to Weyburn at home and the U15 Rampage had a doubleheader in Moose Jaw where they tied the Mustangs 5-5 and lost 6-4.
