Cracks in the road have been spotted on Highway 1 near the Town of Gull Lake that are being sealed over the next few days.

The repairs are part of a $1.7 million project to seal cracks on areas of six highways in Saskatchewan.

Construction will also take place outside of Wymark, Cadillac, Weyburn, Wilcox, and seven additional communities.

Work on Highway 1 near Gull Lake is expected to be completed in a few days. The projects as a whole should be completed in September, depending on weather conditions.

Motorists are asked to be mindful of workers and equipment, slow down, and obey signs and traffic laws.
