Those looking to purchase a local and unique gift for their special someone this Valentine's Day will want to attend the February Market at the Museum taking place this Saturday. 

Education Program Coordinator with the Swift Current Museum, Corla Rokochy provides details on the event.

"We think it will be a great time for those people looking for special and unique gifts for family, loved ones, and kids to come to the museum and find something interesting and different that they can give to their loved ones for Valentine's Day."

Shoppers will be able to purchase items from many local vendors as Rokochy explains. 

"We have Sylvia Thorbun from Sylverling Beads, Cecile Blanke will be here with books and jewelry, and Dreams Cookies is going to be attending they sell frozen gluten-free cookie dough and during the Christmas market they also had some baked samples so you can try those out while shopping."

Rokochy reminds shoppers that the museum gift shop also contains a large selection of local and unique gift ideas from pottery, books, art, clothing, and jewelry. 

The February Market takes place this Saturday, February 10th from 1:30 pm- 4:30 pm at the Swift Current Museum and is free to attend.
