The Swift Current 57's dropped a second-straight game to the Sylvan Lake Gulls, falling 15-10 on Thursday night at Mitchell Field.

Much like on Wednesday, the Gulls used the long ball to build a big lead with Cooper Ciesielski hitting his fourth two-run homer in the span of two games with a blast in the first inning, and Marques Abulhosn also going deep with a three-run shot in the third inning. Marcus Graham responded for the 57's with a two-run shot in the fifth inning and Kai Gray added a two-run homer of his own in the ninth as part of a three-RBI night.

Lachlan Hockey struck out five batters and allowed seven earned runs and nine hits over four innings as he took the loss. Ramses Guerra had seven strikeouts in the win for Sylvan Lake.

The 57's (4-13) visit the Medicine Hat Mavericks tonight before hosting the Edmonton Prospects for a two-game set this weekend.
