The Swift Current Home Hardware U18 AAA Legionnaires dropped a 5-1 decision to the Regina Pat Canadians Tuesday night in the Queen City.

The Pat-C's jumped out to a 4-0 lead by the midway point of the second period on goals from Luke Moroz, Koen Senft, Steven Steranka and Rhett Platt. Keelan Mansuy scored his first goal as a Legionnaire on the power play with 34 seconds left in the middle frame to cut Swift Current's deficit to 4-1, but Ryan Zaremba scored shorthanded with 7:03 left in the third to seal the game. Berney Weston made 24 saves in the loss as Regina outshot Swift Current 29-18.

The Legionnaires (20-8-0-2) sit third in the SMAAAHL standings, one point behind the second-place Pat Canadians and eight points back of the league leading Blazers, whom they play in their next game on Sunday in Saskatoon.
