The SC Midget Indians will head into the Western Canadian "AA" Championships as underdogs.


The Midget Tribe were the provincial runners-up to the host Yorkton Cardinals.  The top teams from Manitoba, Alberta and B.C. will also compete at the five-day tournament which begins tomorrow.

The Midget Indians will be short some of their top players including pitcher Brett Schwarz who will attend the Canada Cup Baseball Challenge in Medicine Hat playing for team Saskatchewan.
