After years of being fed by Mom, the Living Sky Casino helped hundreds of sons and daughters pay back the favour.

The Mother's Day Brunch at the Living Sky Casino Event Centre saw a massive turnout, as hundreds of people came to the breakfast lunch combo meal.

Helping run the show and greeting people at the door was Matthew Schmidt, food and beverage supervisor for the Living Sky Casino. According to him, both mothers and their children had a great time at the brunch.

"They absolutely did," said Schmidt. "We had a pretty good turnout."

With nearly 200 attendees, and roughly half of them estimated to be mothers by Schmidt, this Mother's Day Brunch was a marked success. Many of the seats were reserved with reservations made in advance, but any open seats were quickly filled with walk-ins.

"We love it just because it really does bring that little bit out outreach and opens up our facilities to some more people," said Schmidt.

Anyone who missed out on this event can take Mom to this Friday's planned event. Jennie Ogilvie: Canada's Unconventional Medium will be performing, with tickets available online.
