Time To Fasten Those Trucks and Re-Grip Those Decks

It’s two days packed with ollies, kick flips and grinds.

Next Monday and Tuesday is the Fifth Annual SK8 (Skate) Camp in Swift Current.

This is a free camp that will allow local skateboarders the opportunity to improve and show off their skateboarding skills.

The Camp will kick off next Monday at 2:00pm with demonstrations, instruction, and mini-competitions, followed by Illusionist Richy Roy at the Rec. Centre at 7:00pm. Things will wind up Tuesday at 4:30pm.

The Camp is funded by the McCleary/Marleau Foundation and provides local skateboarders the chance to participate in a variety of competitions, and learn new tricks from four instructors.
