Detour in Swift Current today

Swift Current motorists will have to get used to a detour in town for a few days starting Sunday at 10:00 P.M.

Area office coordinator for Saskatchewan highways Joanne Dickie. 

"What we have going on is a railway crossing repair.  That will be closed #4 highway between       south railway street east and chaplin street east, the railway crossing there."

Dickie says the crossing has worn down,and crews are replacing rails and patching up the highway.

The construction is expected to be finished Wednesday at 6:00.
